ONE HOPE CANADA STATEMENT RE. CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

Due to the information quickly changing concerning COVID-19 protocols, we ask you to contact Mark & Tina Mast directly for guidance in relation to any of our summer programs. One Hope Canada is in close communication with public health authorities and will make adjustments as additional COVID-19 guidance is provided.

Because camp happens in close communities, we have always taken great care to develop and maintain disease management practices to address a variety of communicable diseases, both common and rare. We believe that prevention is one of the best lines of defense and regularly remind campers of the importance of good hygiene and sanitation practices.

As an extra precaution, our camps are installing additional hygiene stations and will undergo aggressive daily cleaning and disinfecting practices to minimize the spread of disease. We are updating these screening, cleaning and disinfection policies to mirror current best practices recommended by public health authorities.

In order to accommodate the concerns of families, our camps have updated their refund policy. A full refund will be issued to any camper who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been exposed to others who have. In addition, if a week of camp has to be cancelled due to a directive of the local health, a full refund will be issued.

Families of registered campers will be updated with any changes or new information. In the meantime, if you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Mark & Tina Mast.

One Hope Canada – Summer Ministry

Can you believe it?  We are already reflecting upon 7 amazing weeks of summer ministry!  5 weeks of Northern Lights Bible FUN!, a week of Bible Camp at Sunny Cove, and a High School Trip with 35 teens to Kentucky/Chicago!  It has been thrilling to see God at work!  We give Him all the glory and praise for those who surrendered their lives in faith to JESUS CHRIST as their Lord and Saviour.  The theme for Bible Camp was:  “Made In The Image of God”

The  Wilderness Canoe Trip  will be taking place  August 17-24.  We have 34 teens signed up to participate!  Please  pray  for this 8-day venture in the scenic beauty of Ontario’s pristine lakes around Nestor Falls.   Pray  for the 10 leaders that will be volunteering as well --- that is 44 individuals who will be relying upon the Lord for His protection and provision in places where no conveniences of daily living exist, but knowing “The LORD is my light and my salvation--whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?  (Psalm 27:1).

Thank you  for partnering with us in ministry to the “otherwise unreached” of Canada.   Please  pray  that the Lord continues to bring in a bountiful harvest of souls for His Kingdom.   Thank you for upholding us before the Throne of Grace and being an encouragement in so many ways!    GOD is faithful in everything He does!

Fall Ministry Schedule

It’s all systems “GO!” for the discipleship/mentoring programs that will be conducted for children and teens who participated in summer ministry events.  Pray  for these vital times of nurturing and spiritual growth in Christian faith.

Guatemala Outreach “GO!”

Mark is coordinating 3 teams of people to minister in Guatemala during the months of  October  and  November.  Please  pray  for all the details yet to be finalized, along with the need to raise funds for “Innovating Dreamers Christian School” being built in San Miguel.  40 students were enrolled this past January and another 40 will begin in January, 2020. We will also construct numerous homes in San Lorenzo, Santo Domingo and El Tejar.    Pray  especially for the Guatemalan people who will be served in these outreaches.    Pray  also for the numerous Bible Schools that will be conducted, along with the church services Mark will be preaching at.  If you would like to have a part in supporting these endeavors, donations can be made to “Guatemala Outreach” and sent to the “correspondence” addresses below.  Thank you so much!  Your  prayers  and support are greatly appreciated.  We depend upon the Lord for the finances He supplies through His people.  Thank you for being a great blessing through your sacrificial giving.

And “THANK YOU!” again for joining with us in the advancement of the Gospel in Canada and beyond to those “with the least opportunity to hear” the Good News of Jesus!

Your  prayers  and support are greatly appreciated.

All for JESUS,    Mark & Tina Mast

Why we do what we do:  “Another fun day at VBS.   30+ years ago my kids looked forward to VBS with you each summer, and now another generation of kiddos are learning about the love of Jesus.   Thanks Mark, Ben, and Rachel for sharing your love for Jesus and reminding us just how exciting it really is to love and serve the Jesus who gives us life!! - CJ
